Flowers on a Thursday

It’s been a fairly busy week this week, but I still had time to enjoy the flowers I saw throughout the week.

This camellia flower is lovely. For some reason, the tree had all its flowers hidden within it, with no flowers on the outside. A shame when the flowers are so pretty.

I love the flowers of fortnight lily, or Dietes bicolour. As with many South African plants, this one does really well here in Sydney.

Magnolia flowers are still looking good at the moment. It won’t be long before these delightful flowers disappear for the year, as spring is starting to spring already with their leaves also starting to appear.

I enjoy seeing all the rhododendron flowers out and about. I rarely see ones this red, so I did have to take a photo, of course!

That’s my week in flowers. Not many this week, but I’m sure there will be many to come over the next few months.
