I had a look at my pots where I sowed my seeds earlier. I’m pleased to say that all the seeds I’ve sown recently have now germinated. I am so happy to see this happening.

My tomatoes, chillies and capsicums are still growing really strongly. I’m most happy about these seeds germinating because they were a few years old when I sowed them. I have been trying to use up packets in my seeds earlier stash, so they have been a successful start to that.

The results of my recent seed sowing are below. My Brussels sprouts, leeks and spring onions have all made a showing. These seeds were all freshly purchased seeds, so it’s a good job they germinated! I also have a random seedling in there too. It will be really interesting to see what this turns into.

I also have some new poppy seedlings appearing. They were sown ages ago, to the point where I was going to remove the two good seedlings and throw the rest away. I will see how well they do over the next few weeks.

I haven’t mentioned my little mixed cacti seedlings for a while. I am really happy with how they are growing at the moment. I have no idea what species these little seedlings are, but they are rather cute at the moment.

Outside I have had some more snail damage again, but I have now been out and removed the snails that I found. I’ll have to double down on the snail checks again!

This weekend, I do have a lot of work to do in my garden-there is the cleaning and sweeping to do first. There will plenty of potting up to do-my poppy peony seedlings and my tiny little brassica seedlings are all needing to be done.

This will leave a bit of space for more seed sowing too. Looking at my seed sowing list, I will likely sow the following:

• Capsicums
• Chillies
• Rudbeckia
• Beans
• Tomatoes
• Random seeds that I fancy as I come across them

Looking at it, that will keep me busy for a while this weekend, for sure! It will keep me out of trouble, which is rather good.
