What is the best purchase you have ever made?

The best purchase I have ever made is of my mirrorless camera, my Nikon Z50ii. There are several reasons for this being my best purchase, the result of which is that I thoroughly enjoy using it as often as possible.

I have always wanted to start photography, but last year was the first opportunity for me to be able to buy the camera.

I love being out in nature, so having a camera means I’m more likely to get out for a walk and enjoy the fresh air.

While I’m out, I’m also more observant. I get to see more birds, animals and insects, which I find far more interesting than most people.

It also means I get to spend more time with my son. He is now 18 and is of the thought that I’m old and past it-I thought my parents were the same at his age. Now that we have cameras, we go plane spotting together every now and then. Spend time in his company is great when I get chance.
