While I was busy mowing the lawns at work today, I came across this little superb fairywren (Malurus cyaneus).

This one is either juvenile or female as the adult males have blue on their heads. They are delightful little birds that are native to south-east Australia.

I love seeing wildlife in the garden. I see these lovely little birds flying around the gardens I was working in today on every visit. They are a joy to watch.
