My parcel of gardening goodies has arrived

Last week, I ordered some things for my garden and the parcel has now arrived, so here is what I got.

As my current seed tin is overflowing with seed, to the point where I struggle finding what I want, I got a new one. Hopefully I will get time to organise my seeds into some sort of order this weekend!

For general propagating use, I got some bamboo plant labels, a soil thermometer and a seed sowing gadget. The plant labels and thermometer are useful, especially the thermometer in spring to see if soil is warm enough for seeds to germinate in. As for the seed sowing gadget, I’ve never used one before and want to try it with tiny seeds (think the brassicas and onions as two examples with tiny seeds), as they are really fiddly to some.

I also got some flower seeds. I often fancy having some flowers inside, and thought to myself that, instead of buying some, I can grow them instead so that i can have some colour outside as well as in. I got tow different mixes of flower seeds-shades of blue and hot colours, so the best of both worlds.

I will sow these seeds next month so they can stay outside, rather than be started indoors as I don’t have the space inside to do them now, due to starting my tomatoes and other veg early this year.
