A week at work

This week has been a busy one at work. From a lot of hedging on Monday, to tidying up garden beds on Tuesday and Thursday to tidying up the garden bed tidy up on Wednesday (along with moving excess topsoil around a lawn for a morning, but the less said about that the better). While not having much time to be taking random photos of plants this week, here is what I have.

In Australia, it’s camellia flowering time. This Japanese camellia is looking lovely with its white flowers . Quite often, white flowers look pretty awful really quickly but all the open flowers on this particular camellia looked as nice as this one.

While removing all the garden waste from the garden bed clear out, this bush turkey and a mate appeared. These native birds are all over the place in Sydney, some people hate them but I like having them around.

I’m not sure what species these mushrooms are specifically but they are a rather bright colour which is why I spotted them in the first place.

It is rather short and sweet today, but this week has been rather tiring.
