Why change?

What is one thing you would change about yourself?

This question is an absolute minefield really. Most people have something that they could change if they wanted to. But why?

Most often people would change something about their body or personality that they aren’t keen on. Maybe it’s because you feel too fat or too thin, or your hair is thinning or you are too quiet or loud, or maybe you think you swear too much. The list goes on and on and on.

All these traits are things that get judged by others and, in reality are a lot of what other people think-and they often don’t mind sharing them either!

I’m stubborn, chubby and can’t conform when you think I should. I’m quiet and reserved and can swear a lot when angry (but I leant from the best potty mouths in the business when I was in the Royal Navy)! Could I change these things? Yes. Do I want to? No.

While yes, I’m trying to lose the chub I’m not starving myself or aiming to look like a ‘supermodel’, I’m eating healthier.

In reality, as long as you are as healthy as possible and as decent a person as you can be then why change?
