I went for a potter around my garden this afternoon. I am mostly happy with what I have seen, although those snails have had a couple of pea plants. They must have been out when we had a thunderstorm a couple of nights ago as we had a bit of rain with it. I saw no actual snails today though.

What is going well in my garden today? Everything is growing well, even the peas that didn’t get eaten by the snails. While my larger, but sill quite small, broccoli plant is still growing very nicely, something has eaten part of a leaf.

Inside, I also have one or two germinating seeds. It is most likely to be tomatoes, chillies or capsicums, based on what it looks like. This is really good news. I am always a little excited when I see seeds germinating, just because of the potential that tiny seedlings represents.

There is no sign of any of my potatoes sending shoots above the soils surface yet, but I don’t think it will be long. I think they had all already sprouted when I sowed them over the weekend.

For the moment, that is all that’s happening in my garden at the moment. I’m sure that I’ll have more to talk about later on in the week.
