Its been a while

Every now and then I get the opportunity to work at another site. This is often a good thing-a change is as good as a holiday, as they say. I’m currently working somewhere different to usual and it is rather nice because there are lots of flowers around at the moment. I like to see a lot of flowers around.

I do have to say that I miss having hibiscus flowers around. My usual workplace doesn’t have any of them at all. Yes, they are a little blousy and showy, but I like them for that. Her are two fine examples.

I love a good hibiscus

Yellow flowers aren’t usually my thing, but I like these rather cheerful African bush daisy flowers. Again, I don’t really see these where I usually work, so it’s nice to see.

I do see geraniums relatively frequently, but I do rather like the flowers. The plant smells awful if I have to prune any back, but the flowers are rather lovely.

Plumbago is one of those plants that I’m not a huge fan of generally, but I do like the flowers. These very pale blue ones are very pretty.

Working in a different place is often a good thing for a few days. It allows me to come across different plants and use my brain a little again. Seeing flowers that I don’t often see is another bonus!
