On my walk around the garden today, the snails have been a bit active again-those sprouts and broccoli seedlings that had been left alone have seen some damage, which I am a little disappointed with! Most are still ok-one has been eaten completely and two or three are without some of their leaves.

While I couldn’t see any snails while I was outside today, I am rather sick of them! It doesn’t help that there has been a little rain most days over the past week and the snails do love the dampness that this rain has brought. It would be lovely to have nothing but sunshine for the next couple of weeks, rather than a couple of millimetres of rain every day or so.
I am pleased to me my sugar snap peas are starting to look like pea plants now. I am hoping they continue to grow well and provide me with plenty of sugar snap peas.

Some more of my nasturtiums have also germinated in the last couple of days. This is great, I think I will now have plants from all of my chosen varieties. I will enjoy there flowers when they appear! The nasturtiums that have already germinated are growing really well.

My beans, peas and sweet peas are also going good so far, with my onions now mostly standing upright now. It has taken a long while to get there after potting them up a few weeks ago, but they are there. I’m hoping to see some good growth on them soon.

That’s my garden for this rather gloomy Tuesday afternoon. some frustration, but also some progress. Overall, I can to complain.
