On sunny day that was rather warm for a winters day, I remembered to get myself outside to check on my plants when I got home from work. There is plenty of growth going on with my seedlings, which I am so happy about.

I have some new germinations today. They are these very, very small poppy seedlings that you can only just see. Being indoors, I hope they stand more of a chance of getting big enough to withstand the damage caused by molluscs that seem to love my garden!

My broad bean seedlings are happily growing well, as are my bigger broad beans in another pot. I am hoping to see some flowers at some point rather soon. So far I have seen little damage on my newer broad bean plants.

My nasturtium seedling are really getting going now in their pots. I am loving this as nasturtium flowers are a favourite of mine. It will be really nice to add more nasturtium flowers when my seeds arrive and I sow them.

I have one little disappointment to make note of today. I noticed that two of my Brussels sprouts have had a visit from a snail. I did have a really good look around the area to see if I could see the said snails, but found no sign of anything. I’ll have to keep an eye out for more snails over the next few days.

The only job I have done today is water in my indoor plants as they were in need of some water. Beyond that, my garden is going ok so far.
