One reason why I like gardening

One thing I love about gardening is the fact that I come across wildlife. I find all insects, birds and animals interesting, even if some decide that eating my plants is a good thing!

Today, I came across a lot of ladybird larvae while I was tidying up again. I always love seeing these in the garden as it means there will be plenty of ladybirds around the garden in the near future.

If I can spend a little time watching any bugs in the garden is time well spent, even if I have to work at the same time! I don’t know why I enjoy this so much, but I do! While I was ‘working’ today, I did enjoy watching one of these larvae eat another one, which was quite interesting I thought-well, utterly fascinating if I’m honest!

Having a feed!

While this may be something that isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but it was a highlight of a rather boring day. Nature is an endlessly fascinating thing to me that will never get boring!
