Today, I had a look round my garden after getting home from work. Cuddles, my adorable cat, loves coming out and having a look with me, and I always enjoy her company when I’m out there.
We have progress in the garden today too. The seedlings that I potted up a week or so ago are showing signs of new growth, which means they are happy with their new situation. I can’t complain as it’s all brassicas, apart from one calendula, which will hopefully add some colour in the future.

My sweet peas are still small but are definitely bigger than they were a couple of days ago. Some more have also germinated since Sunday and I am so happy about that! I love sweet peas and I’m hoping to have plenty of flowers this year.

My lovely dahlia is now proper open and looking really bright against its green leaves. Of all the plants that I have grown this year, this one is my favourite because of the flowers.

I have some cat grass growing in pots for my little garden assistant. She loves having a little snack out in the garden and these pots are usually her first stop. I have come more cat grass seeds that I’ll sow for her and put those pots through the garden, so she can snack as she explores outside.

While I haven’t done any more gardening yet, I have ordered some more seed raising mix. I had a quick look at seeds, even though I have said that I don’t need to get any more. I ordered some Brussels sprouts ‘Red Rubine’ seeds, along with Pea ‘Purple Podded Dutch’, so they will get sown once I get them.
That’s it for the day-new growth, a colourful flower and plenty of cuteness in the garden, all of which are a good thing to come home too.
