Sunday afternoon garden walk-19/04/26

Today was again just a walk around my garden to see how things are getting on. I am pleased to say that there is no problems at all.

My broad beans are coming along nicely. After the rain we had the other day, and the rain we have been having recently has allowed them to get going. There are no flowers yet, but if they carry on growing the way they are, then I don’t think they will be too far away.

My dahlia flower is almost fully open now as well. I really love the colour of this dahlia, which is Dahlia ‘Sheila’ I believe. I did get two other dahlia bulbs at the same time, but they have not shown their face which is a shame.

My Bean ‘Violet Queen’ beans are growing well. I do think they will be ready soon. It’s a shame that I don’t have a lot ready yet, but I do have some more really small ones growing too, which is awesome.

I also have more sweet pea seedlings today. I counted eight or nine today, which I am really happy about. I can’t wait to have a range of colours in my little pot, especially over winter.

That’s all for my garden update today. During this coming week, I will be getting myself to the shop to purchase my supplies so that I can do some more actual gardening. I am really getting back into it again now, which is a good thing.
