A little helper…or maybe not!

Today, when I was at work my son sent me some photos of Cuddles the cat ‘helping’ in the garden.

Cuddles helping out

My delightfully cute little helper decided that the comfiest spot to sit in was the pot where I planted my dahlia tubers. One of my tubers has germinated but the other two haven’t yet and I’m beginning to wonder why! She does make me laugh though because she loves lying on any soil or pile of dirt that I’m in the middle of sweeping up-the grubbier the better as far as Cuddles is concerned!

I will have to see if my other two dahlias will germinate at some point after the ‘Cuddles treatment’. She loves coming outside to help in the garden-digging through pots is her favourite gardening job, at least the potting mix doesn’t get compacted too badly!
