Looking at gardening history

What have you been working on?

As you may have guessed by now, gardening is my thing and I’m getting more interested in gardening history, from all over the world. When I get the chance, I read all that I can on this very wide topic.

I am also interested in determining how the gardening practices of the past are either still very much useful or, alternatively, completely useless in today’s world-either through better scientific understanding or technological advances making things more efficient, etc.

I also want to start working on looking on how various modern scientific and technological advances in horticulture can be used alongside the more ‘traditional’ techniques used and how both can be embraced.

Eventually, I will share what I learn here on my blog, but I want to have a lot of understanding about all of these topics before I start writing.

That is one direction in which I want to take my blog, but I do also have many other ideas that I want to look at too. There is plenty to keep me busy, that’s for sure!
