There are many jobs that I would like to try just to see what they are like, but there are one or two that stand out as something that I would love to do no matter what (if money was not an issue).

The first is spending time with cats and dogs. I love spending time with animals and would love to look after them for the day for their owners. I quite often prefer the company of animals to people-once you understand them they are easy to be in the company of. Playing with them, walking them and giving them attention in general is fun for me. Unfortunately, this sort of work is not well paid or isn’t even a ‘job’, so this is the first thing I would do.

I would also love to go back to sea. I used to be in the navy and loved being at sea. Yes, I can, and do, go on cruises every now and then, but I would like to go to sea agin for longer than two weeks at a time. I don’t know how well pains, or not, being at sea is at the moment, but I’d love to go back for six months or so just because I had the opportunity.

Unfortunately, money isn’t unlimited in my world, which is the same for most people. In saying that, I’m lucky that I can go on a holiday every now and then (cruise or otherwise) and that I have the most adorable little fur ball at home that I can spend time with when I’m at home.
