We have had a really warm couple of days so far this week, both of which have been busy for me. While tired, I am quite happy as where I was working today had flowers galore. I normally wait for Friday but I’m excited because temperatures are warmer and plants are waking up again!
The first flowers of note were the Raphiolepis flowers-the plants were covered in them. They really do look amazing!

I’ve also come across a grevillea today. Grevilleas are always a favourite of mine, so I’ll always include them when I see them. I think that this is Grevillea ‘Peaches and Cream’, which is one of may favourite I think (but that may change, just based on which grevillea I see on any given day).

Across Sydney, rhododendrons are flowering like crazy, with the widest number of shades of pink I think I’ve ever seen-sometimes in the same garden! While the plants are rather dull, flowering time for rhododendrons is why they are grown.

Those are my spring flowers for the day. Flowers like these always put a smile on my face, as they are showy and colourful.
