At the end of a week of contrasting weather, it is time for my favourite plants of the week. From the twenty-eight degree day on Monday to 98.1mm of rain over two days, it’s been interesting. That is spring in Sydney though-the weather can be all over the place!
There aren’t many plants this week, but they are lovely ones, starting with Mexican lilies. The flowers appear on these large spikes. The flowers themselves are delicate and green, while the spike is pink and announces its presence with its rather large size. I think they are utterly fabulous-there is something to be said for a plant that goes all out at flowering time!

Clivias are often overused, but this particular cultivar has really deep orange coloured flowers. I’m not sure of its name, but this is my favourite clivia cultivar due to the flowers appear colour.

Finally for today is this lovely bright pink rhododendron flower. It’s bright and cheerful, which is what I like when I’m at work!

However brief, I love finding flowers throughout my week to share.
