Food

What’s your favorite word?

There are a lot of good words out there in the world, not just in the English language. I have chosen the word food because it is such a broad topic-we all have to eat, we all have some form of food culture based on where we come from and we all have our likes and dislikes.

I do enjoy a good burger

I do have to say I love my food. I enjoy eating it and growing some of it. I love trying new food when I travel to any country I’m passing through at a given time.

Growing food is relaxing and fun with a tasty ending

With food, you can connect with people in a way that you can’t with anything else-food is often integral to who a person is. I like learning about all of this sort of thing.

A roast dinner is one of the best meals available

Learning about the food means learning about plants too, as a lot of the food we eat comes from plants. Whether it’s a completely new plant to me, or one I already know but learn of a new way to use it is always interesting to me.

Large or small, veg gardens are always a good place to visit, like this one at Hampton Court Palace

Food is such a simple word, but what it means to us is far more than just what we eat, which is why it is my favourite word.
