The ten things I know for certain are:

1. Having a cat is far more fun than I ever thought possible
2. Personal freedom is important
3. There is no better smell than eucalyptus trees in summer and after rain
4. The appetite of a teenage boy is staggering-blink and the cupboards are bare!
5. Every day the sun rises, so everyday is a fresh start
6. The older I get, the stranger people seem
7. Going for walks in the bush is one of my favourite things to do
8. Travel is great, but flying there in a plane is awful
9. I love plants-looking at them, growing them and eating them
10. Finally, if I could continue to have a home full of laughter, mischief from cats and some home grown veg for the rest of my life, I’d be very happy
