There isn’t a ‘job’ that I would do for free. In today’s world, there are far too many people that aim to get as much as they can for as little cost as possible. While everything is expensive these days, the actual value of something is the thing that is important, including my time.

I value my time and the older I have got, the more I have started to value this commodity-we all have limited amounts of it. If there is a job that needs to be done, whether cleaner, doctor, actor or retail worker they should all be paid at the actual value they bring to society, rather than just the bare minimum (and for famous Hollywood actors, the minimum wage should not be millions of dollars-they don’t bring that much benefit to the rest of us!)

Call me a cantankerous grump, but I wouldn’t do a job for free. Fair is all that is needed.
