Good looking gardens take time and knowledge

In today’s world, everything seems to be about rushing and doing it all yesterday. Gardens don’t work like that because they are full of living plants. People also think good gardens don’t need any knowledge (they do, but that can easily learned).

Just like children, plants take time to grow to maturity. They take on a form that we either love or hate, but we can choose the ones we love to put in our garden. Also like children, plants need regular care-even ones considered ‘easy’ to care for, but obviously there are different levels of care needed for different plants.

To get a garden looking good, it does take work from someone and it does not take five minutes. It’s up to the garden’s owner to make wise choices as to how much time and investment they want to put into their space. If you choose to invest little personal time and/or money you will end up with rubbish unless those are coupled with knowledge.
