The trouble with 24 hour news is that there is a constant cycle of doom and drama that is just too much to take in. We don’t need to hear the same stories of whatever misery is going on in the world every 15 minutes, or whatever the cycle is.

While I do think it’s a good idea to know what’s going on in the world, I want to see and hear positive stories too. There are good things happening in the world as well as the bad. Hearing happy, positive stories is encouraging and does show that the world isn’t all bad.
