It’s been a tough week so far!

Temperatures north of thirty degrees tire me out a lot, but temperatures above 35 degrees Celsius send me a little mad I think! Yesterday, the temperature at work reached 38 degrees and I was exhausted when I got home!

I did start work an hour earlier yesterday to try and beat the heat a little, which did work well, but there is only so much you can do when it’s that hot. I was sleeping in the living room again, I couldn’t help nodding off before I went to bed!

Today, I am still shattered. It honestly felt like I hadn’t slept at all last night. I then get to work and realise that the sandwiches I made before leaving home are still at home. Thankfully, my lovely husband is able to drive over and bring them to me in time for lunch today. I think I would have had a cry otherwise! Up to this week, I haven’t been loving my job due to how tired I get anyway and a few other issues, but I am really struggling this week.

Even though this is the case, I have to try and have something I enjoy somewhere. Today, it is some hydrangea flowers that look lovely, despite the heat.

I also have ginkgo tree. While I think the tree is a bit average looking, the leaves of this tree are rather nice, mainly because they are different to others. The tree is tough and is a good one to have around.

At work, there is a waddling of ducks (I think that is one of the best collective nouns going) that hang out on the grass for breakfast. I don’t know why I think this, but I could watch them all day. I’ve not got a photo but I do smile as I drive past!
