Here in the southern hemisphere, July is the middle of winter. This is my favourite month in Australia because it is cool rather than hot and humid like summer. The days of July are usually sunny too, which is lovely.

If I was in my native England, my favourite month is January. This is because it freezing cold, the weather is terrible and I love that sort of weather!

There are two questions that I will never know the answer to on this. The first is why do I like the awful weather in the winters of north west England? No idea, always have done. From this answer, how come I still live I Australia with its really hot summers with after almost thirteen years? Again, I don’t really know, apart from I’m generally happy here. The summers are still a struggle though!
