I still haven’t!

When was the first time you really felt like a grown up (if ever)?

I have never really felt ‘grown up’. What is this even meant to mean? You could say that because I work full time, have a sixteen year old son and drive a car, I’m grown up.

But, I certainly don’t feel it! I still find things considered ‘childish’ funny and laugh at other people’s harmless misfortune. I get excited by the things that excite me.

Interesting stuff like this bark gets me excited (I’m a little odd, maybe!)

Growing older does not mean you have to be serious and act in a completely different way. Being older gives you the wisdom to know when to be sensible. The term grown up is an outdated term that’s used to belittle people for not behaving a certain way.
