Another week done

Thankfully, another week is done and I can spend time doing things other than smelling of manure! That has its place, but only when I’m working. It has been wet and tough going, but makes the weekend all the more enjoyable!

I saw this hibiscus flower bud part way through opening up.

These flowers are Raphiolepis flowers. This particular one is hedged, but they make lovely stand alone shrubs too. Flowers can also be white.

I’ve spent most of the week in the rose garden so here are some roses.

Below are the bright flower buds of trumpet vine, or Pyrostegia venusta. They are very bright and colourful which is why I like this climber.

Finally, this is the crown of a Sydney red gum, my all-time favourite tree.
