In my time, I’ve had many jobs since I started working part time while still at school. My first job was as a pot washer in a restaurant, followed by a sales assistant in a butcher and bakers shop.

On finishing studying, I ended up in the Royal Navy as a sailor for a few years. After getting pregnant with my son, I left the navy and ended up doing a weekend cleaning job for a couple of years.

After moving to Australia, I decided that I needed to do some training of some sort, which is when I studied horticulture. Since the start of 2019, I have been working as a horticulturalist and can’t see that changing any time soon.
