I am again doing a bit of travelling, this time I’m on a cruise down to Hobart in Tasmania, Australia. We stopped at a little place called Eden in the south of NSW on the way south from Sydney.
This was the view from the cruise ship as we were heading into Eden yesterday. It was a bit gloomy, but I was enjoying the cooler temperatures and the view when out for some fresh air.

The grevillea with the red flowers is Grevillea speciosa.

This callistemon is looking happy in the landscape. The bright red flowers are always a cheerful sight when they appear as they stand out so well faint the green leaves.

I think the tree below is a Monterey cypress, or Cupressus macrocarpa. I think the sale of its crown is pretty cool, as it doesn’t seem to care about following any particular neat and tidy shape.

I have another view of a beach, this time through a bit of a tatty looking area of native bush area by the side of the road. I quite like this sort of thing. I spend all day every day trying to make ‘nature’ look tidy, ordered and perfect looking so anytime actual nature is as nature should be then I love looking at it.

Here is another one of those random patches of trees-being tidy is not the done thing here!

Finally, I have another Moreton Bay fig for you. This seems to becoming a thing-last time I was away, I found some more of these trees, which always look great!
