This weekends gardening

It’s been a mixed weekend with the weather. Yesterday, we had 5.8mm of rain. Today is sunny and warm which is lovely after a few wet days! Thankfully, the rain we’ve had over the past few days has meant less watering, which I’m always happy about!

This weekend, I have potted up the seedlings that have grown from the seeds sown in the past couple of weeks. In this batch of seedlings, there are tomatoes, chillies, peppers, broccoli, cauliflower, cucumber, pumpkin, onions and cabbage. All my previous seedlings are growing well too.

My cucumber plant looking good

I have also sown more seedlings today. I have sown the following:

  • Tomatoes
  • Spring onions
  • Tomatoes-‘Tommy Toe’ and ‘San Marzano’
  • Onions
  • Cabbage
  • Broccoli
  • Capsicum
  • Sunflower-‘Evening Sun’
  • Beetroot
  • Cauliflower
  • Chillies

It hasn’t only been my plants that have been enjoying the sunshine today. My very cute and sassy little cat has also been out enjoying the sun too-she loves being outside in her little kingdom!

Cuddles loving the sunshine!
