Todays garden

It’s another warm day here at home today-perfect weather for being out in the garden pottering! It has been nice seeing some bees in the garden today-I saw one floating around my bean flowers earlier so I hope they have been pollinated!

My little Crassula ovata cutting is growing well so far

Along with the usual watering, I have sown some seeds today too. I have sown some beetroot seeds as beetroot is a favourite of mine, along with some more tomatoes, pumpkin and cucumbers. I’ll share how I do once these seeds have germinated. I have also potted up some onion seedlings that were starting to get a little big for the pots I sowed the seeds into.

I have some awesome looking flowers going on too, which is always good. I have some beans almost ready to eat and some peas that are coming along nicely too . My broccoli seedlings are growing well after being potted up last week.

The main job that I have to do in the coming week is some sweeping up, as there is a bit of a mess developing on the patio. With all the weekend work I have been doing recently, I haven’t had as much time as I’d like to do stuff in my little garden area. This coming weekend, I should have plenty of time to catch up with the more boring jobs that need doing!
