Highlights from work today

As I potter at work today, there are a few things that are interesting for me to look at.

The first are the fruits of Nandina domestica. They are a very bright red and stand out against the green of the leaves.

Another plant I like due to the shape of the leaves is Philodendron xanadu.

Clivia plants are starting to flower now, with their orange flowers brightening up a shady corner.

Just because Agave attenuata flowers awesome and only appear when the plant is about to die, below is the whole show.

Last, but far from least, is an example of an Acacia longifolia, my favourite of todays plants.

You will hear more about all these plants over the next few days, when I get chance to write about them.
