We have had a mostly sunny week at home, with only 6mm of rain on Thursday.

My Saintpaulia (African Violets) are flowering, especially my blue-purple flowered one and looks amazing. I keep them on the windowsill in my bedroom and seem to be really happy there.

With my outdoor plants, I now have many seeds newly germinated from my seed sowing a couple of weeks ago. At least some of the seeds from each species sown have now germinated. I was a bit worried that my broad beans wouldn’t appear but looking this morning they have just appeared above the surface of the growing media.

There are still some mandarins left on my tree, with a couple being ready and a couple not. My avocado trees, which I grew from seed, have never shown any sign of bearing flowers and fruit, but that isn’t uncommon for avocado trees.
