I have to admit that I haven’t done much gardening over the past week. Ive been rather tired from work all week. This morning, I thought that I would get myself sorted and do the jobs I was going to do during the previous week.

One thing that I have been meaning to do (for a while if I’m honest) is to pot up my little cacti. Here they are all potted up. While they are all absolutely tiny, I’m hoping they will do plenty of growing over the rest of spring and summer.

These are some of the succulent leaves that I am trying to propagate new plants from. One of these two leaves now has roots on it, which I am happy to see. You can’t really see the roots in this photo, but they are there!

This leaf is proper going for the root growth, which is great! I am hoping to see som actual leaves to develop soon, as these roots having been growing for a couple of weeks now!

I have a couple of succulent leaves that have either shrivelled and died without any new growth of any kind or are showing no signs of anything yet. I can’t be too disappointed by this as I do have some doing really well.

I spent some time potting the remaining tomatoes, chillies and peppers that I didn’t do last weekend. They are now all outside. They are hopefully enjoying the rain we are having today.

The cat grass that I sowed last weekend has now started germinating. It won’t be long before before my little furry ball of mischief, Cuddles, notices and has a little snack. She already has some cat grass available, but it will be nice for there to have some fresh stuff too.

Nasturtiums are going to be a frequent part of my garden over the next few months. The flowers are great in my opinion. Here is a ‘Purple Emperor’ flower.

The other nasturtium flower is this ‘Ladybird’. These are the only two nasturtiums with open flowers at the moment, but there are flower buds on all my others. They won’t be too far from flowering now.
