I like doing a blog post every Friday where possible that shows the flowers that I’ve come across during the week. This week, I have lots of flowers so this is the first of two flower related posts this week.
If you have been reading my posts for a while, you will know that I love a good nasturtium flower. This bright orange one is no exception, it’s so bright and cheerful! As well as being good-looking, it’s also edible, so it’s got two uses in any garden.

Completely different, but lovely in its own right, is this agave inflorescence. While a lot of the individual flowers Although many have already died, the flowers that are still alive are really pretty, especially in the morning sunshine.

From pale yellow to hot pink. You can’t say my weekly flower observance has been a boring one! I really do enjoy seeing rhododendron flowers at this time of year, even if the leaves are plagued by azalea lace bug.

As well as being one of the best smelling herbs used in cooking, rosemary has really pretty flowers. I nearly always see so many bees buzzing their way around flowers the flowers-it’s definitely one of their favourites.

I have included the flower of the fortnight lily in a post in the past couple of weeks, but I think it’s worthy of another inclusion this week. They are so abundant at the moment, showing why this plant is worthy of a place in your garden. Not in flower, they are a rather boring plant-the flowers change that into something lovely in late winter.

I included the Indian shot (Canna indica) on a post a while ago, so here it is again. The flowers are really delicate compared to other canna Lillie’s, but a little variety is always a good thing to have.

While I doubt that most people can say they are overwhelmed by too many flowers, having too many in one blog post could potentially be too much. So these six flowers are my choice for the day.
I always feel really lucky to be able to work around lots of flowers, it far better than an office. That’s why I like sharing them every week that I can, in the hope that you can enjoy them too!
