I went out into my garden again today, mainly to do snail patrol, and to see how my plants are getting on. There isn’t that much to be ‘doing’ in terms of gardening at the moment as we have had enough rain over the past few days that my plants don’t need watering.

In terms of snails, I found a couple but there weren’t too many today, thankfully.

With my seedlings, There are many doing really well. As always, the brassicas (cauliflower, sprouts and broccoli) are all doing really well by germinating readily for me.

My radish seedlings are also thriving, despite the bets efforts of Cuddles the cat earlier in the week!

I also have another pea seedling that is in the process of germinating too.

It’s great that all my seeds are busy getting on with germinating, without me having to do much at all. The harder part is keeping all the snails away as the seedlings grow!

My other plants are doing well, including my beans, nasturtiums and older broccoli plant. This broccoli plant seems happy after being potted up-it has new growth on it already.

That’s all for my garden news today. I will get out and do the required tidying up that I still haven’t done tomorrow, as I have been quite busy over the past few days and haven’t had chance to do it.
