As usual, I have had a quick walk around my garden after work to see how things are in my garden. It got me thinking, as a lot of my seeds are germinating.
Seeds are amazing things when you think about it-they are small, often tiny, things that turn into plants. These tiny plants then seem to grow so quickly from barely anything. I find this stuff fascinating to the point where I’ve decided to read about some seed biology. I like to know the ins and outs of things like this, and love learning new things.
Beyond admiring seeds and their ability to turn into plants, mine have been doing plenty of germinating this week so far. My peas, sweet peas and beans that hadn’t germinated seem to have done over the past couple of days. There are lots of little seedlings poking their heads above the soil in all the required pots.
Many of my little seedlings look like they will need potting up over the coming weekend, as they are starting to look a little crowded. I enjoy doing my potting up, I find it rather therapeutic.

So, that’s my quick chat about my garden today. Until next time, happy gardening!
