More of Berowra Valley National Park

On my walk through Berowra Valley National Park the other day, I found lots that I found interesting along the way. I have already written about it here, but there were some photos that I didn’t share at the time and want to because I find this national park such a pleasant place to be.

I like the rather brown flower heads of these sea rushes (Juncus krausii). While not exciting in colour, they are fitting for their native environment.

It was a lovely sunny day and I like these mangrove leaves filtering the sunlight.

Sandstone in the Sydney area is really decorative because of the different colours within it.

While I was walking through a valley, there were some open views too. I love the fact that some trees are randomly growing on this sandbank in the river.

An interesting view

The pathway was a rather nice one, winding its way through the trees. In some spots, I did have to watch which way I went, as it wasn’t always totally clear what was the path and what was a dead end. I was also a bit rocky.

The next few photos are of my favourite area that I walked through. I could have stayed there for hours and hours watching the world go by with very few people around.

I do love being in this national park, I think it’s my favourite. I will be going for more walks around this area as well as through other parts of the park over the next few weeks and months.
