Anyone who reads my blog regularly will know that grevillea flowers are stated to be my favourite type of flower. The range of colours of the numerous cultivars available added to the unique form of the flowers themselves are the reason why.

There is now a rather big bug to this today. Walking past a couple of Corymbia ficifolia cultivars at my local pool today made me think again. Myrtaceae (of which this species and its cultivars are part) family flowers are a close second or third.

The colour of these flowers is great, especially against the green leaves of the tree. I forget how much I like these flowers until I see them in spring each year and now I don’t know which flowers I like the most!
Which are your favourite?
