Another week done and some more flowers from the week to show you. Sydney has had more sunny and very warm weather this week, it feels like we will be in for another hot summer this year.
Orchids are plants that I can’t seem to keep alive. These ones that are growing outside look fabulous. I don’t know how much attention they get, but either way this orchid is happy!

In the same garden bed as the orchid is this Hippeastrum. I love the colour of this flower.

I’m loving nasturtium flowers at the moment-the varying colours are lovely. my favourite are the ‘Purple Emperor’ flowers in the bottom photo of the three.

Hibbertia scandens, or snake vine, is an Australian native vine, mainly found in coastal areas on New South Wales.

The pretty blue flowers of Comelina cyanea, a ground cover native to the east coast of Australia. I think that it a really nice plant in the right setting.

While this flower is always a nice one to see, morning glory is a weed here in Sydney as it is a vine that can climb happily up trees and over shrubs and smothering them.

That is my week in flowers. I do like to look at flowers when I’m out and about-they add colour and interest to any landscape, especially to urban areas.
