My gardening weekend

After a rather sunny week, which has been really nice after the rain of the previous week. I haven’t done a huge amount in my garden this weekend, mainly because of a lack of space for many more seeds to be sown.

In saying that, I have sown a few seeds:

  • Strawberries
  • Red drumhead cabbage
  • Beetroot
  • Spring onions
  • Onions

These should help keep a steady supply of vegetables in the summer, at least that is the plan!

All the seedlings that are now growing are doing nicely. My second sowing is seeds are doing very well indeed, which I am happy about. There is no sign of the broccoli or cauliflower seeds germinating yet, but they were only sown last weekend.

While short and brief, that’s may gardening for the weekend.
