This morning was only a brief gardening session, just so that I could my seedlings potted up. All my plants are growing well, with no more losses which I’m happy about.

I potted up all the remaining beetroot, spring onion and Brussels sprouts seedlings. I have left the lupin and fringed lily seedlings for longer as the seedlings are still really really small-the fringed lily seedlings have only just germinated. These will get potted up next week, once I get back off holiday.

Weather wise, we have had a cooler week with no temperatures over thirty degrees. This has been lovely, I have to say as temperatures over thirty are too hot for me (I often ask how I ended up in Australia where it often gets too hot over summer). We got about 3mm of rain yesterday.
The weather details for today, at 8.13 am are as follows, according to my weather station:
- Temperature-19.4 degrees Celsius
- 98% humidity
- 1mm rain/66.8mm for the month
- Wind-1.8km/hr, ESE
- Relative pressure was 1023.3 hpa
- Absolute pressure was 1005.6
- Light level was 15.8 W/square metre
- Forecast for sunny weather
The Bureau of Meteorology has forecast for a ‘medium chance’ of showers in the morning and early afternoon with light wind. A rather miserable day in some ways by Sydney summer standards, but one where I am glad it isn’t too hot at the moment. When looking out the window, it is cloudy, but we have been getting the odd bit of sunshine too.
That’s all for my gardening this weekend. I’ll have more updates in a couple of weeks.
