Sort of

Are you patriotic? What does being patriotic mean to you?

I say I am sort of patriotic because I hold citizenship of two different countries.

While I can’t say that I hated Britain when I left, far from it, being away from the country of my birth has shown flaws I didn’t see while living there. Conversely, it also shows what I do love about the place too.

The English are known for roses

It’s also the same moving to a new country. I have seen things that you are far better and others worse. As it stands, Australia is where I am happy at the moment.

Australia is known for eucalypts and their relatives-in this case a Corymbia with the red flowers

There are things I love about both countries and things I don’t like but I am happy to say that I have something from both countries.

  1. This is so weird. I still can only comment on your posts through my notifications drop down menu, not on your page – and now the “like” button won’t load, no matter how many times I reload the page! Very strange.

Also, an interesting prompt question. One I would have difficult answering in a civil manner, given what’s going on in Canada right now, with our insanely corrupt government we haven’t been able to get rid of.

    • Politicians are the lowest of the low-you don’t seem to find good ones anywhere!

I don’t know what’s going on with my page-I’ll have a look and see if I have done something weird I can fix

      • It may simply be the theme you are using. I’m just glad I figured out I could still respond in my notifications menu!
