Random finds are great fun

Today is going to be a another hot one at work, where the forecast is for a 37 degree Celsius day. While these sorts of temperatures are awful to work in, you do get something to put the smile back on my face every now and then.

While I was dead heading some roses earlier. I came across an individual flower that was half white and half pink. The rest of the roses that are on this plant are all pink, so this one flower is rather fun.

My interesting rose.

Called sports, the random different features that appear on plants are often where we get new forms of many plants that come into our garden centres from. I won’t be doing this here because I don’t have the equipment with me, the time, knowledge or space to do anything major, or even minor, with the idea. Sometimes, it is just easier to enjoy what you have actually there on a plant and let it stay there to be enjoyed by others too.

That’s why I took a photo too-it’s random, really pretty and is interesting. You can’t get better really, so I’ll let you enjoy it too.
