A nice quiet year so far

For the past couple of days, I have been busy relaxing. I have to say that I have enjoyed the relaxing so far, I have to say. Not being at work for most of this week has been really enjoyable. I will be rather busy tomorrow and possibly Saturday too, depending on how tomorrow goes.

A gum tree I spotted when I was out earlier

First up is potting on all my seedlings. While my succulents are yet to germinate, all the others are doing really well, so need sorting out. That will take me a couple of hours to do. I also need to got and get some more pots and special cacti and succulent growing media for the cacti I got last week, while also going for a trip out to a local nature reserve to get some photos for a a blog post I want to write, which I’ll try and get that done too.

In between all that, I’ll enjoy spending more time with my family-after some rare summer hug today off my cat, I’m hoping that I get some more!

I got plenty ons of this delightful girl this morning

I’ve also got to make some choices about the two avocado trees that I grew from seed. They have always been grown in pots and are a bit too leggy. They have also never produced flowers, let alone avocados, so I am thinking of getting rid of. It’s a shame but they take up a lot of space for not much benefit other than being green. We will see tomorrow and my mood- I may end up keeping the better looking one!
