My perfect space would be like a large English country house library-a large library lined with floor to ceiling wooden shelves full of books. Windows would be from floor to ceiling to see views of the countryside.

I’d have two large desks-one for writing and the other sewing (as that would have to be in the same space. I would also have to have a few comfy armchairs and a sofa around a fire for reading.

There would be coffee and cake on tap and peace and quiet would be an essential part of being in my reading, writing and seeing room. There would also be plays dotted around the place.
