Tell us one thing you hope people say about you.
What people say about me has got increasingly unimportant as I’ve got older. While I don’t think that the opinion of others, or what they say about you, is unimportant, why is anyone really that bothered?
You may say that I am the most delightful person you have ever met-I may have been in a good mood or helped you out of a sticky situation. You may say that I am the rudest, angriest person that you have ever met and don’t want to come near me ever again-it is likely that you come across as awful yourself or that I am not tolerating the ridiculous nonsense you are coming out with when I’m having a bad day. Both could be true, but both also miss out a lot of the reality of who I am as a person. It’s generally the same for all of us.
The way I see this sort of question is that there will always be people that will say things about me that are good and bad for their own reasons. As long as I’m not hurting anyone, the opinions don’t matter because I learnt long ago that I am who and am and people will always comment, no matter what. I get on with being who I am and whether you like it or not, I will carry on doing my thing regardless!
