I really do get annoyed with people a lot of the time, and yes I am turning into an old crank before anyone thinks to ask! The trouble with today’s world is that people don’t seem to care much these days.

I spent most of the day mulching which is an absolute chore of a job at the best of times. Flies were bothering me all day too-even before I got sweaty and smelly!

This mulching is a job that is continuing from last week. Over the course of the two days of mulching, I have found the usual bits of plastic and also a pair of gloves. It makes you wonder what the people chipping the trees are doing-why is there plastic or gloves anywhere near the chipping machine. I have an intense dislike of half jobs and litter in things or on the ground, it’s not needed.

On the positive side though, I saw these cute little birds. These birds are Australian king parrots and this is the first time I’ve come across them in my twelve years here in Australia.
