I have been having a look through the monstrous number of photos on my phone today (I have over 8000 at the moment apparently) and I have to say there are a fair few decent photos in these, along with the dodgy photos of feet, legs and blurry things I can’t make out!
This grevillea is very lovely. Grevillea flowers are always so, with the various cultivars coming in so many different colour combinations, but this I think is my favourite as it is a showy flower but without the crazy colours (although, they really are all just fabulous-if there is a fancy word for loving grevilleas, let me know). Don’t ask me which cultivar this is as I really don’t know!

This is Strelitzia nicolai a relative of the usual bright orange bird of paradise flowers. This particular species gets really tall and has blue-grey and white flowers. A word of caution with this plant if you ver grow it-keep it under control as it grows, otherwise it will cost to get it tidy again in either crazy numbers of hours at once, or a financial cost for someone to do it for you!

Banksia is another Australian genus of shrubs and trees that I love looking at-how can you not? The completely different flowers to what is ‘normal’ are always interesting to me-the quirkier the better!

The colour of these flowers is my favourite rose flower colour, I’m sure I’ve said before. Unfortunately, I don’t work where this rose lives any more, but there are many more plants, and roses, to come across out there in the big wide world of plants!

Hibiscus flowers are showy, a little over the top, full of colour and completely worth having in the garden just for these reasons. Again, I no longer have these shrubs in my daily working life but I have lots of pictures from when I did! If I ever have the space, these will become a feature of my garden-red, orange, white and any other colour I can get!

Finally, this is my favourite hibiscus so far-I love the colour combination of this flower, much is why I like it so much.
